Here’s a quick summary of the categories of canvas art prints you can from us:

Classic artists

Ever fancied having a Rembrandt or Michelangelo hanging in your living room? Or how about a Munch in your dining room, or a Constable in your kitchen? With our enormous collection of canvas art prints from the most famous artists of old, you can buy your own piece of art history for under £30.

Some of the most famous and popular pieces in our canvas print catalogue include:

  • A Bar at the Folies Bergere by Edouard Manet. Considered the last major work by the 19th Century French painter, the original oil on canvas piece hangs in the Courtauld Gallery, London. Manet was considered a major influence on the impressionist and modernist artistic movements of the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

  • A Starry Starry Night by Vincent Van Gogh. Painted in 1889 while Van Gogh was resident in the asylum he admitted himself to after famously cutting off his own ear, A Starry Starry Night depicts the view the Dutch master had from his room at the Saint-Paul-de-Mausole monastery. The original oil on canvas painting is held at the Museum of Modern Art, New York City.

  • American Gothic by Grant Wood. Painted in 1930, this painting of a couple stood outside a typical American wood board home has become one of the most iconic and frequently parodied images in American culture. The oil on beaverboard original is held by the Art Institute of Chicago.

  • Arnolfini Portrait by Jan van Eyck. Another iconic image of a couple, the Arnolfini Portrait dates to 1434 and is considered one of the early classics of Renaissance realism. Thought to depict a wealthy Italian merchant and his wife living in Bruges, Belgium, the original piece painted on three oak boards hangs in the National Gallery, London.

  • Vertumnus by Giuseppe Arcimboldo. Instantly recognisable as the portrait of a man entirely composed of fruit and vegetables, the Vertumnus is actually a portrait of the Holy Roman Emperor Rudolf II. Dating from around 1590, the name of the painting refers to the Roman god of natural metamorphosis. The original is owned by Skokloster Castle in Sweden.

Modern artists

If you prefer your art abstract and conceptually challenging, we stock a superb collection of canvas prints from some of the giants of 20th century modernism. Some of the leading artists we stock prints from include:

  • Gustav Klimt, the Austrian symbolist famous for his use of decorative patterns, such as in his iconic painting The Kiss.

  • Paul Klee, a Swiss German artist whose highly original style broached elements of cubism, expressionism and surrealism.

  • Wassily Kandinski, a Russian artist credited with being one of the forerunners of the abstract style.

Contemporary photography

One of the great art forms of the past 100 years, we give quality photography the exposure it deserves with a large collection of quality contemporary images available on canvas. For added convenience, we organise our photographic images by topic, so you can search for whatever subject takes your fancy - animals, landscapes, vehicles, space, it’s all there.

Each product listing offers a number of one-click options. If you are ready to make a purchase, you can add an item to your shopping basket. If you want to find out more about the product, you can click on it or select quick view to access more details.

One particularly useful feature is our ‘product compare’ tool. Select several canvas prints you are interested in, and then head to the product compare page. This lists details of all products selected, including stock availability and reviews, side by side, so you can make an informed decision on what to buy.

You can also add items to a wish list to share with friends and family, or just to store your favourites for the future.
